WBJS International Week
WBJS held international celebrations over two weeks in the Spring term. Every child had the chance to explore new languages and cultures whilst practising their geographical skills.
The children travelled across continents smelling spices, hearing stories, making masks, dancing, trying food and playing games. They also had the chance to hear from some parent and staff volunteers, who either read to them in their native language or did a cultural activity. The year 3 children had a visit from the year 2 children from ACS Cobham and all year groups thoroughly enjoyed a production in French, exploring the world through VR headsets and hearing from the EAL (English as an additional language) children within our school community.
