We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Young Carers Angel Award by Surrey County Council.

The award recognises the excellent practice around identifying and supporting young carers provided by West Byfleet Junior School through our wonderful Pastoral team.

It also recognises that we have created a culture of acceptance, understanding and support for all our children in school.

Claire Galvin, Team Manager for Surrey Young Carers, commented on how West Byfleet Junior was 'a shining example' of what the Angel award stands for.
