Summer Reading Challenge 2024

Thank you to Mrs Haworth and Mrs Wooldridge from Surrey Libraries for delivering two wonderful Summer Reading Challenge Assemblies in School this week.

The Summer Reading Challenge 2024 has launched on Saturday 6 July and this year's Challenge is a fantastic celebration of imagination and creativity.

The theme is 'Marvellous Makers' and has been developed in partnership with with the charity Create.

The aim of the challenge is to keep children reading over the summer holidays when there can sometimes be a 'reading dip'. Children can set their own goals, but to complete the challenge they will need to read 6 books before Saturday 14 September.

Children will need to be a member of the library to sign up for the challenge but joining the library does not take long and is free.
