What a day! Our fantastic Y5&6 boys football team had the opportunity of representing Woking FC at the National Leagues Trust's U11 trophy finals at Bromley FC on Thursday. The winners of the tournament would progress to the national regional finals at Slough Town FC, with the opportunity of playing at Wembley if they are victorious.

Our boys were fantastic, not only in the way they represented both the school and Woking FC but in the way they played and the determination they showed.

I am so proud and delighted to say that we were victorious and will progress to the next round as the regional South East winners!

They didn't lose a game all day; conceding only 3 goals and scoring 23 in the process. No only did they play exceptionally well but the sportsmanship they showed throughout was commendable and they should be immensely proud of themselves.

The caveat of Wembley awaits...
